This is my second time contributing to Flannel Friday! Yay!
When I was still working part time at two different libraries, I just randomly start making flannel board pieces. I was hoping & wishing for a "big girl" library job soon where I could put those pieces to good use. The cookies that you see below were one of the first flannel board sets that I made during that time!

When I use this set for my The Letter "C" storytime, I typically use the Six Yummy Cookies rhyme that I originally found on the What Happens in Storytime... blog.
Six Yummy Cookies
Mama made six cookies and she placed them on a tray.
Let's listen in and hear what they say!
The first cookie said, "I bet I'm really good!"
The second cookie said, "I'd like some milk if I could."
The third cookie said, "I'm going to be great!"
The fourth cookie said, "I hope we're not too late."
The fifth cookie said, "It's getting hot in here."
The sixth cookie said, "This time is almost near!"
Then DING went the bell & out came the tray.
& the six yummy cookies were gobbled up right away."
